Emily Brulotte
I remember being 7 years old, looking at the back of a pretzel bag and counting how many I was “allowed” to eat.
18 pretzels.
I was a competitive gymnast, so I became aware of food and my body really young.
Then at 16, my whole world changed.
I had brain surgery.
My parents divorced.
We moved.
I had to give up gymnastics. The thing that had been my entire life.
And when everything around me felt out of control, food became the thing I could control.
For years, I struggled.
Restricting. Binging. Dieting. Trying to make my body smaller. Starting over.
And underneath all of it, I was also dealing with ongoing gut issues that had me searching for answers.
Then in my 20s, while studying nutrition, I discovered whole-food plant-based eating.
I read Dr. John McDougall’s work and thought…
Wait. You’re telling me I can eat potatoes? Rice? Carbs?! 😂
I decided to give it 90 days.
That was 10 years ago. 🌱
Eventually I started cooking plant-based meals for other people.
Then meal prep.
Then private chef work.
But I realized something.
I didn’t just want to hand someone the food.
I wanted to teach them how to do this for themselves.
Because knowing what to eat is one thing.
Knowing how to keep going when you’re traveling, eating out, stressed, discouraged, the scale isn’t moving, or you’re standing in your kitchen ready to say screw it…that’s the part nobody teaches you.
And THAT became my work.
Today, I help women lose weight with whole-food plant-based eating, but the food is only part of what we do.
I’m the person in your corner.
The one you send the restaurant menu to.
The meal photo.
The “Emily, WTF am I supposed to eat here?” message. 😂
The one who helps you stop turning one hard day into another month of starting over.
Basically, I’m your plant-based nutrition coach in your pocket. 📲🌱
And I think the 7-year-old counting pretzels would be pretty damn proud of that.
If you’re ready to stop figuring this out alone, my private 1:1 coaching is open.
